TriumphPay announced today that it has entered into a new partnership with Seaford, Delaware-based Trinity Logistics to provide real-time visibility into its brokerage payment services. Trinity Logistics will leverage TriumphPay’s payment processing platform to further automate and improve efficiencies in its brokerage network, offering a better payment experience for carriers.

“We believe this partnership will be a major catalyst in digitizing and streamlining the payments process for carriers working with Trinity,” said Jordan Graft, president of TriumphPay. “We are looking forward to help Trinity better serve its carriers.”

TriumphPay is a provider of carrier and vendor payment solutions to the supply chain industry, allowing brokers and shippers to manage their payments with less capital invested through its payment processing service, QuickPay. The company has provided payment solutions to more than 80,000 carriers on behalf of freight brokers and shippers.

“One of Trinity’s largest problems has been tackling the amount of time spent on phone calls with our factors,” says Doug Potvin, chief financial officer of Trinity Logistics. “I’ve known Jordan Graft for a long time. After seeing his presentation on TriumphPay at a FreightWaves conference, I called him to ask how he could help us reduce those phone calls. Three days later, he was in our office presenting the benefit TriumphPay would offer us and our carriers. It was an easy decision to move forward.”

TriumphPay will provide back-office support to Trinity Logistics, driving efficiency for their business. By reducing the amount of calls to factors, Trinity will have more time to focus on customer service calls to address unbilled reporting, process invoices and further grow relationships with carriers. TriumphPay will also allow Trinity to reduce their QuickPay fees. “Our terms will go from 3 days at 3% and 10 days at 2%, down to 2 days (processing approval with TriumphPay) at 2%,” said Potvin. “We are offering 90-day introductory terms of 1.5% for all carriers currently in QuickPay, want to sign up for Quickpay, or new carriers that sign on board with Trinity Logistics.”
